Skrrttttt… *crash* Since Christmas break there have been two wrecks just outside of the school involving students, none of the student’s names will be used. Luckily during their car accidents, none of the students were harmed. Both of the accidents caused mile long back ups along Indiana highway three and caused many students to be late to school, but they were not counted tardy.

The first wreck was an incident where a pair of students was driving away from the school and a parent and their kid were turning onto county road 200 North. I personally saw the accident happen, it all happened within a blink of an eye. I was just driving on my way to school like every other day and then boom. Unfortunately, both cars were damaged pretty bad.

In the second accident it was a single car accident. A student slid off of the road right in front of the school. The student had to be taken to the local hospital from the scene but had nothing wrong with him.

These two events should be a learning lesson to students to be careful when they are driving because at any moment it could be any of us.
